The Digital Health Hub Foundation, together with partner StartUp Health and Fedcap, proudly launches a new gathering in New York City: Civic Health.
Founded in 1935 as the Federation of the Crippled and Disabled, Fedcap has spent nearly a century advancing opportunity and dignity for those too often left out of the system. Today, that spirit inspires a new conversation about the future of health.
Civic Health is built on a simple but urgent idea: healthcare must work for the 99%.
Around the world, breakthroughs in AI, diagnostics, digital health, and new care models are redefining what healthcare can be. Yet too often innovation reaches only a privileged few. Civic Health exists to spotlight the leaders, technologies, and systems working to change that—to make healthcare more accessible, more affordable, and ultimately better for everyone.
On June 16, innovators, health system leaders, technologists, entrepreneurs, and civic changemakers will gather at Civic Hall to explore how a new generation of tools and ideas can transform the health of communities at scale.
This is more than a conference.
It is the beginning of a new civic health movement.
The goal is to establish an annual New York convening—bringing together the world’s most forward-thinking minds in healthcare each spring, when the city is alive with possibility and collaboration.
The Digital Health Hub Foundation is championing this effort because there is currently no global forum dedicated to putting civic health first—no stage where the conversation begins with health equity, community impact, and real-world access.
Civic Health aims to change that.
Because the future of healthcare will not be defined only by innovation.
It will be defined by who that innovation reaches.
And the mission is clear: better health for everyone.
