San Francisco, January 23, 2023 - Digital Health Hub Foundation has secured a $500,000 grant towards a $1 million pledge to help rising star companies grow and scale. Founder.org, led by its founder Michael Baum, has made the first pledge toward a million dollar goal to the Digital Health Hub Foundation (DHHF) to support it’s earlier stage Rising Star Award companies.
Founder.org is non-profit organization focused on supporting and funding the next generation of entrepreneurial talent..
As part of this commitment, up to 10 cash grants of $50,000 will be awarded at this years’ annual Digital Health Hub Awards show to a select group of rising star companies that are making the biggest impact on the challenges facing the digital health landscape.
In addition, Digital Health Hub Foundation donors and sponsors may also have the opportunity to co-invest in these rising stars.
"The Digital Health Hub Foundation and its awards program are at the forefront of driving change in the healthcare industry. With an aging population, most healthcare providers are overwhelmed with patients. Innovative digital health and wellness products can ease that burden by empowering consumers with knowledge and capabilities. Providers will also benefit by being able to care for more patients and provide higher quality care. I am proud to support this important work through my grant for the 2023 Rising Star winners." said Michael Baum, Founder of Founder.org
This pledge represents a significant multi-million dollar investment over time, which will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and scaling of rising star companies.
“We are thrilled to be supported by Michael Baum, renowned for his early investments in Plushcare (now part of Accolade) and Eko, both past winners of Digital Health Hub Awards, and his role as Co-Founder of Splunk, one of the most successful SaaS companies of all time, has generously stepped forward to make a significant grant for the 2023 Rising Star winners. These grants will greatly enhance the appeal and excitement of our awards program for the submitting companies in 2023. This is just the first of several major announcements that the Digital Health Hub Foundation plans to unveil for this year's event,” said Mark Goldstein, Chairman of Digital Health Hub Foundation.
